During the open water dives we値l do at least four dives at various dive sites around Monterey, Pacific Grove and Carmel. During each of the dives we値l integrate some of the skills you've learned while pointing out lots of the cool marine life that makes the Monterey Bay one of the most diverse underwater ecosystems in the world. It痴 a fun weekend of diving, eating, hanging out and checking out Monterey謡e can also recommend some non-diving topside activities for your significant other or friends.
PADI痴 Open Water Diver materials* cover what you need to know about basic scuba diving skills, terminology and safety procedures. For each concept you値l read a description and watch a video demonstration. Then you値l jump in the pool to practice these skills with your instructor. Later, as a certified diver, use the course materials as a reference guide for future diving adventures and to review what you learned.
To enroll in the PADI Open Water Diver course or Junior Open Water Diver course, you must be 10 years or older.

Classroom/Pool portion of the Open Water Class and basic gear (mask, snorkel, boots, fins and gloves) are not included in the price of this class. All other rental gear is included at no additional cost.
