PADI Open Water Class - Classroom/Pool

In the classroom we’ll discuss safe diving practices, what-ifs and some diving theory. The fun interactive sessions are based at your study pace. We'll then move what you've learned into the pool; covering techniques from doing routine underwater tasks to elaborate emergency procedures. Spending time in the pool will cement what we discussed in the classroom as well as introduce lots of tips and tricks that will make you dive like a pro.

PADI’s Open Water Diver materials* cover what you need to know about basic scuba diving skills, terminology and safety procedures. For each concept you’ll read a description and watch a video demonstration. Then you’ll jump in the pool to practice these skills with your instructor. Later, as a certified diver, use the course materials as a reference guide for future diving adventures and to review what you learned.

To enroll in the PADI Open Water Diver course or Junior Open Water Diver course, you must be 10 years or older.

* Materials, the Ocean portion of the Open Water Class and basic gear (mask, snorkel, boots, fins and gloves) are not included in the price of this class. All other rental gear is included at no additional cost.
